Rural Youth Prevention Project
Many youth are seeking to become engaged in community issues in a meaningful way. Their energy, ideas, and voices are much needed in the process of community change.

The Rural Youth Prevention Project facilitates the establishment of Youth Councils comprised of concerned youth in targeted communities. The focus of the Youth Councils is to address the issue of under-age drinking in the community.  Additionally, Community Support Networks consisting of concerned adults will be established within the community to assist the Councils' efforts.

Eligibility:

  • Fresno County residents in targeted communities.
