How You Can Help

Volunteers

The Rural Tobacco Education Program recruits youth volunteers from organizations in rural Fresno County to help staff an anti-tobacco booth at swap meets and farmer’s markets to provide secondhand smoke educational information and educate clientele and merchants. Youth volunteers assist in conducting public opinion surveys on support of a policy to eliminate smoking in outdoor public areas of the swap meets and farmer’s markets.

To become a youth volunteer, please call (559) 263-1265 or email tobaccoed@fresnoeoc.org.
