Internal Recruitment

It is the policy of Fresno EOC to provide internal employment opportunities to employees through transfers/promotions from one job to another within a department, from one department to another, or from one program to another. Employees who feel they are qualified for a currently posted position are required to complete the online employment application.

To be eligible for a voluntary transfer, employees must meet the requirements of the new position, must have held their current position for at least six months, must have a satisfactory performance record, and must have no adverse disciplinary actions during the same time period. To be eligible for a voluntary promotion, employees must meet the requirements of the new position, have a satisfactory performance record, and have no adverse disciplinary actions within the last twelve months.
